Turtle Rock guests and their vintage 1958s
We just had to share this photo with you! A guest who stayed with us recently arrived in this beautiful vintage 1958 Dodge pickup and 1958 Airstream Travel Trailer. Truly an awesome and original setup!

Hunter Creek breaks through to ocean - opens to salmon
Every year the locals bet on the autumn day that Hunter Creek breaks through to the ocean. This year it was October 15, and now the salmon are free to swim up the creek. Last year a lucky fisherman caught a 49 pounder in the deep pool right by our famous Turtle Rock formation at the mouth of Hunter Creek!

Weddings at Turtle Rock Resort
We've had the pleasure of hosting several weddings and receptions this year, and our group room seems to be perfect for the occasion! An October wedding was absolutely beautiful - we're sharing photos of their decorations, and the cutest little refreshments! If you have questions about our group facility, please click here for more information. Amenities include two kitchens (one large kitchen with commercial stove and oven, one smaller kitchen/wet-bar), a massive stone fireplace, 72" TV with DVD, plus an outdoor deck with gas grill and patio with fire ring. The wood floors and ceilings in our group meeting room create a relaxing ambiance for up to 80 people.

Workamper Tim from Texas catches a big one!
In late September, a Turtle Rock staff-member was very proud of this huge salmon he caught on the Rogue River, east of the bridge. Way to go, Tim!

Safari RV Group enjoys sea basket class
A group of Safari RVs stayed with us at Turtle Rock and had a great time. A few of them took a sea basket class and made some wonderful things from kelp.
