Golfing and Golf Courses near Gold Beach

This 9-hole mentally engaging course features 3,000 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by John Zoller, the course opened in 1971. The short layout will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone. Golfers must consider the combination of elevated tees and greens, along with the creek and little mounds adjacent to several greens.

Directions:   Located just 10 miles north of Gold Beach and Turtle Rock RV Resort, you will make your way along the spectacular Southern Oregon coast Highway 101. Turn two miles inland where you'll find the Cedar Bend golf course nestled between the mountains on the floor of beautiful Cedar Valley.

Salmon Run Golf Course is an 18-hole golf retreat unlike any other in the Pacific Northwest. Located in beautiful Brookings Harbor and set in a maturely wooded area, this course is accented by panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Golf Digest ranked this course as one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Oregon. Salmon Run's name originates from the Chetco River, which runs alongside this course and is one of the largest salmon spawning rivers in the country. During spawning season, hundreds of fish can routinely be seen making their way upstream.

Directions:   Take Highway 101 South to Brookings, then take the South Bank Chetco River Road turnoff at the Chetco River Bridge. Follow the South Bank Chetco River approximately 3 miles. Salmon Run is located on the right side of the road, and just 31 miles south of Turtle Rock Resort.

At Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, you'll find four distinctly different courses built on a beautiful stretch of sand dunes perched 100 feet above the Pacific Ocean. Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes feature a dozen holes that run along the bluff overlooking 23 miles of sweeping, undisturbed shoreline. Bandon Trails begins on a massive dune, works its way through open meadows and upland forest, and then finishes in the dunes. Old Macdonald moves through dune to ocean revealing breathtaking views throughout. The courses here weren't built as much as discovered. Among the coastal forest, dunes and gorse, lie golf holes that yield fresh rewards each time they're played.
